Terms of Use
Effective October 26, 2026
These terms apply to the Tiny Explorers app (the "App") made by Marjhorie D Mahinay ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you are a parent or guardian, you accept these terms on behalf of your child. The App is meant to be set up by a grown-up and used by children with a grown-up's supervision.
1. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App or its content, except where the law allows it.
2. Learning content
The App is designed to support early learning at home. It is not a substitute for school, therapy or professional advice. We work hard to keep content accurate and age-appropriate, but we can't promise it is free of every error. Feelings and calm-down activities are for everyday learning and are not medical or mental-health care.
3. Pip's voice and third-party content
- Pip's narration is AI-generated speech, recorded in advance and built into the App.
- Space images in the optional NASA Space Photos activity come from the NASA Image and Video Library and are used under NASA's media guidelines. NASA does not endorse the App.
4. Privacy
We collect no personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how the App works without it and how to delete data stored on your devices or in your iCloud.
5. Price and changes
The App is currently free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. We may update, change or stop offering the App or any feature. If we ever add paid features, purchases will be made through Apple, behind a parental gate, and you will always see the price first.
6. Ownership
The App, Pip and the other characters, artwork, stories, sounds and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
7. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, support or any claims about it (including product-liability, legal-compliance, consumer-protection or intellectual-property claims). If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Where these terms and Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) overlap, the EULA's minimum terms also apply. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
